For the fourth of July my family decided to celebrate by protesting our country’s immigration policies that are cruelly impacting families seeking asylum in our country.
I call my representatives and write letters, and donate to organizations like RAICES and Corazon, as well as some local shelters for immigrants, but it’s not enough. It felt good raising our voices to express our outrage at these atrocities.
