Our large backyard outdoor environment has a playhouse, large sandbox, rocker, swing, rings, garden beds, a giant set of building blocks, a water table, and lots and lots of loose parts for imaginative play. *We’re ordering mulch for under the climbing dome.
We will play rain or shine, barring lightning in the area, or temperatures so cold that the rain will make us miserable.

As such, our prepared environment is designed to meet each of these needs in each child, academic, social, physical, sensory, behavioral, and perhaps most important, the need for belonging and love from caring, competent adults.
